The exchangeable tips are made of 30% carbon fiber-reinforced plastic: very good electrical and thermal conductivity, scratch resistance, and durability. The surface resistance of the exchangeable, carbon fiber-reinforced plastic tips is 10^2–10^4 ohms and it compensates the potential differences between the user and electronic components in a controlled manner. The exchangeable tips withstand prolonged use up to temperatures of 130 °C and short-term exposure up to a maximum of 190 °C. The carbon fiber-reinforced plastic tips are highly flexible, fatigue-resistant, vibration-damping, and water-repellent. The tips resist various chemicals well (most oils, lubricants, fuels, and apolar solvents). Same precision and stability as conventional tweezers: the plastic tips have a play-free 3-point connection (2 fixed points on the arms, one screw), allowing the user to attach them to the body perfectly without play. Cost-saving option: the tip selection includes several different shapes.
