The exchangeable tips are made from 30% carbon fiber reinforced plastic: very good electrical and thermal conductivity, scratch resistance, and durability against wear. The surface resistance of the exchangeable tips made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic is 10^2–10^4 ohms and compensates for potential differences between the user and electronic components in a controlled manner. The exchangeable tips can withstand long-term use up to 130 °C and momentarily up to 190 °C. Tips made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic are highly flexible, fatigue-resistant, vibration-dampening, and water-repellent. The tips perform well against various chemicals (most oils, lubricants, fuels, and apolar solvents). Same precision and stability as regular tweezers: the plastic tips feature a backlash-free 3-point connection (2 fixed points on the arms, one screw), allowing the user to attach them to the frame perfectly without any play.
