The exchangeable tips withstand prolonged use at temperatures up to 130 °C and short-term exposure up to a maximum of 190 °C. Tips made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic are highly flexible, fatigue resistant, vibration dampening, and water-repellent. They perform well against various chemicals (most oils, lubricants, fuels, and apolar solvents). Same precision and stability as regular tweezers: the plastic tips feature a zero-play 3-point connection (2 fixed points on the arms, one screw), allowing the user to secure them to the frame perfectly without play.
