Part of the 3M Precision Finishing Disc family, these discs are ideal for high-pressure applications such as surface grinding, deburring, corner rounding, matting and finishing. They outlast other premium fiber abrasives – with excellent edge retention and shape retention over time. The XXCRS (60+) rating provides twice the durability on steel and three times the speed on steel parts compared to other premium fiber abrasives (based on 3M internal testing). The disc’s performance is ensured by 3M’s precision-engineered ceramic abrasive grain, which uses a patented molecular bonding technology to continuously fracture and form new sharp points.
