Applications: Techtron HPV PPS has an excellent combination of properties including wear resistance, load capacity and dimensional stability even in chemically demanding conditions and high temperatures. Techtron HPV PPS is often used when the properties of PA, POM, PETP and other technical basic plastics are not sufficient or where the properties of specialty plastics PEEK, PBI, PAI, PI are not needed and a more economical alternative is desired. The internal lubricant of the material provides excellent wear resistance and a low coefficient of friction unlike pure PPS, which has an inherently high coefficient of friction and whose fibreglass reinforcement causes premature wear of the mating surface in moving parts. Techtron HPV PPS can be used in a wide range of industrial applications such as: dryers, food processing ovens (bearings, rollers...), chemical industry (pump, valve and compressor components) and electrical insulation components.
