The grille mat effectively removes larger debris like grit stones from shoe soles, while the textile mat picks up fine dirt and moisture. Dirt falls through the mat's holes to the floor surface, keeping the mat looking neat at all times. Mat modules can be easily connected to each other with a simple peg joint—just use a hammer. The edge areas can be finished off with a utility knife. Other possible designs, such as recesses, can also be easily created by cutting the mat modules.
