The surface resistance of the interchangeable carbon fiber reinforced plastic tips is 10^2–10^4 ohms, compensating for potential differences between the user and electronic components in a controlled manner. Interchangeable tips are suitable for long-term use at temperatures up to 130 °C and briefly up to 190 °C. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic tips are highly flexible, fatigue resistant, vibration dampening, and water-repellent. The tips withstand a variety of chemicals (most oils, lubricants, fuels, and non-polar solvents) well. Same precision and stability as conventional tweezers: the plastic tips feature a backlash-free 3-point connection (2 fixed points on the arms, one screw), allowing the user to attach them to the frame perfectly without any play.
