Dimensioning of O-rings
The dimensions of the O-rings are always given as the inner diameter of the O-ring (d1) x the thickness of the material (d0).

SILICONE RUBBER (Q, MQ, MVQ)
The term silicone rubber covers a wide group of materials consisting mainly of silicone, methyl and vinyl groups.
Silicone rubber does not age quickly. It has good insulating properties and physically neutral properties.
Suitable for use with:
- motor and transmission oils (according to ASTM oil no. 1)
- animal and vegetable oils and fats
- brake fluids (not based on crude oil)
- non-combustible hydraulic fluids, HFD-R and HFD-S
- chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons with high molecular weight
- water max. +100 ºC
- dilute saline solutions
- withstands ozone and does not age quickly
Not suitable for:
- water/steam over +120 ºC
- acids and bases
- silicone grease and silicone oil
- hydrocarbons with low molecular weight
- aromatic mineral oils
- fuels
- aromatic hydrocarbons
Heat resistance: Withstands heat up to approximately +210 ºC
Cold resistance: Is elastic at -55 ºC to -60 ºC (special mixtures -100 ºC)
