92 09 05 ESD Plastic ESD Tweezers ESD tweezers are made from 30% carbon fiber reinforced plastic, offering excellent electrical and thermal conductivity while being highly resistant to abrasion and scratching. Only ESD versions: surface resistance of 10^2–10^4 ohms reliably compensates for potential differences between the user and electronic components. ESD plastic tweezers withstand prolonged use at temperatures up to 130 °C, and brief exposure is possible at temperatures up to 190 °C. ESD versions made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic are highly flexible, fatigue-resistant, vibration-dampening, and water-repellent, as well as resistant to most chemicals (including oils, greases, fuels, and non-polar solvents). ESD plastic tweezers are ideally suited for premium surface protection when handling sensitive electronic components, precision mechanical parts, and glass or ceramic components.
