92 09 03 ESD Plastic ESD Tweezers ESD tweezers are made of 30% carbon fiber reinforced plastic, which provides excellent electrical and thermal conductivity and highly resists abrasion and scratching. Only ESD versions: 10^2–10^4 ohm surface resistance compensates for controlled potential differences between the user and electronic components. ESD plastic tweezers are suitable for long-term use at temperatures up to 130 °C, and short-term use is possible at temperatures up to 190 °C. The ESD versions made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic are highly flexible, fatigue resistant, vibration dampening, and water-repellent, and they withstand many chemicals (most oils, greases, fuels, and non-polar solvents). ESD plastic tweezers are ideally suited for the best surface protection when handling sensitive electronic components, precision mechanical parts, as well as glass and ceramic components.
