Seal washers improve reliability. The risk of damage caused by incorrect installation of the bolt connection (e.g., excessive tightening torque or slightly misaligned fastening) is significantly reduced. Additionally, the load on the fastening and, consequently, the tensile stress on the screw decrease when using the seal washer. The risk of embrittlement due to tension in the connection is significantly lowered.
