The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 fiber disc 1182C has a redesigned 3M precision-shaped ceramic abrasive grain, thanks to which the legendary speed and service life of 3M™ Cubitron™ Performance abrasive products rise to a whole new level. The benefits of using the product include improved productivity and lower grinding costs compared to other fiber discs and hard abrasive discs and carbon steels. This long-life fiber disc removes up to 60% more abrasive material than the 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fiber Disc 982C, 36+. High cutting speed and material removal efficiency are maintained regardless of grinding pressure. Additionally, this disc is designed to reduce worker exposure to hand and arm vibration, increase performance and to speed up work, so when using medium and high grinding pressure, several parts can be finished before the need to change the disc.

RE-DESIGNED 3M PRECISION SHAPED CERAMIC GRIND: The disc has a redesigned and precision-shaped ceramic sanding grain, the patented structure of which makes the edge of the wheel sharp and angular. The structure breaks again and again to form sharp points, so the blade wears evenly, stays cool and keeps mineral breakage under control.

IMPROVED PERFORMANCE: Up to 51% faster machining speed and up to 61% longer life compared to 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fiber Disc 982C, 36+.

DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: Rigid fiber back material and strong resin bond ensure long-lasting durability in heavy-duty sanding applications such as medium to high sanding pressure, weld removal and chamfering - even when using a robot.

LOW WORKING TEMPERATURE: Only a low grinding pressure is needed for use, so the disc works at a lower pressure than you are used to without affecting efficiency. Moderate grinding pressure also reduces metal discoloration and the risk of stress cracks when grinding steel and carbon steel.

LONG-LASTING: The disc retains its very sharp tips, which cut exceptionally quickly throughout the life of the fiber disc, regardless of the applied sanding pressure.

HIGH PRODUCTIVITY: More parts can be processed with one wheel, which reduces grinding waste, the need to change the wheel and downtime.
