In a single-row cylindrical roller bearing with a cage, the rollers are guided between the fixed flanges of the second bearing ring. The bearing ring with fixed flanges can be detached from the other ring together with the holder and the roller frame. This significantly facilitates the installation and removal of the bearing. SKF also manufactures single- and double-row precision-built cylindrical roller bearings for machine tool bearings, as well as double- and multi-row cylindrical roller bearings for rolling mill bearings and other heavy bearings.

The cages of single-row cylindrical roller bearings are polyamide (P), steel (J) or brass (M/MA/ML). |
