Sika® Primer 209D is a solvent-based black primer that reacts with moisture to form a thin film on the surface. This film acts as a link between the adhesive and the surface to be bonded, improving the adhesion of the glue or paint. Suitable for PC/PMMA plastics when used with Sikaflex-295UV adhesive.

The product is specifically designed to be used as a pre-treatment agent prior to applying Sika's one-component polyurethanes. Sika Primer 209D is used to enhance adhesion to various plastics and paints, such as fiberglass film, epoxy resins, PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, PS, acrylics, and powder coatings.

Test the compatibility of Sika Primer 209D with the surface to be glued or painted before use. The surface to be treated must be clean and dry prior to applying Sika Primer 209D.
