Following the pickling of stainless steel, the rinse water is strongly acidic and contains dissolved metals including chromium and nickel. For environmental reasons, this water should be treated before discharge. Standard applications: - Avesta Neutraliser 502 is a simple way to neutralise acidic waste water and precipitate heavy metals. Features: - Gives rapid precipitation of iron, chromium and nickel in the form of a sludge which can be sent for deposition. - Adjusts the waste water to a pH-value of 7 – 10 before discharge.
