The SKF Adjustable hook spanner, size 5 - 8 , has a pivoting hook that allows tightening and loosening of a variety of lock nuts. They are used to secure and adjust bearings on tapered journals, adapter sleeves and withdrawal sleeves. They are an economic solution as they fit on a variety of lock nuts with outer diameters 35 - 60 mm.
