The use of lithium or Li-Ion batteries has become more common in workplaces. Batteries can be found e.g. in battery tools, flashlights and electric bikes and scooters. However, compared to traditional batteries, the high energy density also brings with it a significantly higher fire risk than before, which is the most significant of the risks associated with Li-ion batteries. A defective or damaged battery can spontaneously ignite during charging, for example. In this case, it has to be possible to protect the rest of the environment from the spread of a battery fire to structures and to protect people from the toxic gases released from the batteries on fire. Etra's selection covers sheet metal and compartment cabinets with plugs, as well as fire-classified storage solutions. All models intended for charging are ready to be connected to a 230V electrical network.
