The barrel clamp is designed for lifting and moving steel and plastic barrels of various sizes in an upright position (one barrel at a time). The clamp features an adjustable grip size and is suitable for most standard 200- and 120-liter barrels, both with lids and open. The use of the clamp requires the barrel to have a strong overhanging top edge/lip under which the clamp jaws can attach. The clamp consists of three articulated arms, brackets, a central frame, and a fixed lifting loop where the lifting device is connected. The three-point contact and stabilizer-type arms (limited range of motion at the joints) prevent the top of an unsealed barrel from bending under load, and they also remain automatically engaged with the barrel, even when the clamp is released between lifts.
