3M GPH-160GF 1120mm/33m grey
VHB 2-sided 1.6mm 1roll/box
The GPH family of 3M VHB tapes features a modified acrylic adhesive on both sides of a conformable acrylic foam. The characteristics of these adaptable acrylic foam tapes include high temperature resistance, the ability to bond various materials, and strong initial adhesion. This unique combination makes them some of the highest performing and most versatile 3M VHB tapes. The highly heat-resistant tape can bond materials in applications where the tape must withstand high operating temperatures, either for extended periods (up to +150 °C) or briefly (up to +230 °C). It is specifically designed for attachment prior to heat-based curing processes such as liquid or powder coating processes. It is typically used on metal surfaces such as aluminum, galvanized steel, and stainless steel. Applications for this tape include the attachment of stiffeners and panels, assembly before the painting oven, as well as decorative materials and trims. Additionally, the tape, which adheres well to a wide range of surfaces, is excellent for joining different materials. It is suitable for high or medium surface energy substrates, which include various metals (such as stainless steel) and plastics (such as polyamide, PMMA, and ABS). The 3M™ VHB™ tape GPH-160GF is a grey, 1.6 mm thick tape featuring a red silicone-coated polyethylene liner.
