3M™ VHB™ Tape 4991 is a grey, 2.3 mm thick, acrylic adhesive VHB tape. The 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4991 features a strong acrylic adhesive with viscoelastic properties. This creates an extremely durable double-sided foam tape that adheres to a wide range of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composites, plastics, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS plastic, painted or treated wood, or concrete. These bonding tapes exhibit excellent shear strength, conformability, surface adhesion, and heat resistance. They are commonly used in applications across various markets, such as transportation, home appliance industry, electronics, construction, signage and displays, and general industry. They reliably bond a wide range of materials firmly and quickly for permanent applications.
